Merchandise

Fragments of devotion, collected and worn.
This section is a small archive of the things I've gathered in Kai's name. Trinkets, images, skin-deep tributes - little proof that my connection to him bleeds into the physical world.

There may not be much, but every piece is saturated with meaning.

Some people carry their gods in prayer. I carry mine under my skin.

Official Merch

Kai's Funko Pop is the first official merchandise I bought. Funko Pops are quite infamous for having dead, souless eyes and uninspired poses but I personally, I don't mind Funko Pops if they are done well and the MHA line is quite good.

That said, the souless eyes on Kai's Funko Pop is quite fitting, especially for his character and he is doing his signature pose which is always nice to see.

Overhaul's Tomonui plush is the only plush of him I've ever wanted because of how stylized this specific brand is (and cute!) which makes it look appealing. He is on the pricier side and because of that, I thought he was discontinued but I am glad I was proven wrong and now have him in my collection.

Fanmade Merch

This is a bracelet that I commissioned at a multifandom festival in my country. The colors aren't exactly correct but the pastels are really cute so I am willing to look past that.

Miscellaneous Merch

These items are from a MHA character package I got from Etsy. My favorites are the lipgloss and the bracelet though the bracelet is sadly too big because I forgot to tell the seller that I have a thin wrist but I still love it. The folded up paper is a letter which was sweet and the wax melts smell great. The candy tasted good too. Though next time, I would've liked to buy a better character package because this one felt mediocre at best. The shop has sadly dissappeared from Etsy though so you can no longer buy from them.

A tattoo of the Shie Hassaikai symbol on my right thigh. It is technically not merchandise but I feel it's appropriate to put here. The artist couldn't do the markings in the inner circle because the tattoo is small and it would have smudged in the future. I was bummed out about it in the beginning but I got over it quickly. I, at first got it as a physical representation of me and Kai's soulbond but I let go of that belief a long time ago as spirituality no longer resonated with me. Despite that, I still absolutely love it and I got plenty of compliments for it as well even with its ambiguous design.
